We are in a series called “Grow Your Email List” and if you have been watching you have learned why having an email list is so much better than having followers!

 

Todays episode we are going to keep it going and discuss “Where To Find Free Leads Online“

 

So the last 2 episodes we have gone through how to grow your email list with a lead magnet and landing page. Now I want to show you where you can find free leads to send them to your landing page so they can get your lead magnet. 

 

Having a lead magnet and landing page is useless if you don’t have anyone to opt-into them. 

 

So obviously running paid ads will get you leads the fastest, but I never recommend hopping straight into paid ads. 

 

1 – It’s not free

2- It requires skill and takes time to master

3- You need to be able to generate leads organically (for free) before you put money into getting leads

 

So for those 3 reasons we are going to focus on how to get leads the free way!

 

I promise you this is not rocket science. Sometimes we make things harder than they should be but this is simple. My favorite place to find free leads are Facebook Groups. 

 

Wow! Not what you were expecting? I told you it was simple. 

 

All you have to do is find Facebook Groups where your dream clients hang out!

 

Let me be clear – where your dream clients hang out. Not where you hang out but where your ideal clients hang out. 

 

So if you are a life coach who helps women cope with divorce. You will want to join relationship facebook groups. You simply need to go where your dream clients are. 

 

Here are 2 quick ways to find Facebook groups:

 

1. Ask your audience what Facebook Groups they are in

2. Go to Facebook and in the search bar type a term that related to your dream client. Using the life coach as an example you may type in relationships. It will show you search results but you will want to select “groups” which will be in the menu at the top. it will show you all the relationship groups on Facebook

 

So what I want you to do today is find 3 facebook groups and join them. Once you join start posting valuable content. 

 

There are specific things you want to say when you are in the groups so you don’t sound spammy or salesly but that would take a while to take you through but I do offer that to my paying clients along with exact copy and paste scripts you can use.
